SWAY CONTROLS
Generally correct weight distribution will contribute to controlling sway because all wheels have full traction on the road. However sway can still occur from passing trucks, cross winds etc. If a weight distributing hitch has been fitted and you want to ensure sway is minimised a Hayman Reese sway control unit is highly recommended. We have the experience to supply and fit the appropriate sway controller for you.
The friction sway controller is an add on to the 550lb/750lb Weight distribution hitch. It is recommended for ball weights 0-160kgs
The Dual cam sway controller is an add on to the 550lb/750lb Weight Distribution Hitch it is recommended for ball weights upwards of 160kgs
