| A couple of months ago I had a tow-bar fitted to my new Mazda Tribute by Ballarat Trailers & Towbars. I was slightly concerned about having this done as the last time I bought a new car and had a tow-bar fitted the dealer who handled it didn’t do a very good job, the workmanship was “sloppy” and the communication as to what was to happen and how and when it would occur was non existent. I couldn’t believe the difference in dealing with Ballarat Trailers & Towbars. Not only was the quality of the finished product fantastic the process was “seamless”. They gave me a description up front of what was involved and how and when it would happen and everything went just as I was told, without a hitch. Well done Ballarat Trailers & Towbars. I would recommend your service to anyone. |

![]() |
HID stands for high intensity discharge lighting. They generate light by creating an arc within a xenon filled glass chamber. Once the gas is ignited, it produces an extremely bright light which is up to 3 times brighter than a standard halogen bulb. They also produce up to a 30% wider beamspread, thus resulting in much better visibility for safer night time driving. HID xenon bulbs last up to 10 times longer than standard halogen bulbs, as they do not utilize a wire filament to produce the light. The average lifespan of a xenon bulb is equal to about 8 years of continuous night driving. You will never have to change a bulb again. HID’s draw 40% less power from the vehicles electrical system as they operate at 35 watt compared to a halogen bulb that operates at 55-100watt. HID’s operate at a lower temperature than a standard bulb making them a safe choice. |
